1. A free service, as is

Lodestar by Oasis is a free tool in beta, run by [Your company entity]. We offer the daily digest, scorecards, drafts, and related features without charge while in early access. We may change, pause, or end any feature with notice, and paid tiers in future will be announced well before anything changes.

2. No guaranteed outcomes

Lodestar helps you choose and write applications. It does not promise interviews, hires, or income. Scores are information to support your judgment, never instructions, and past sample numbers on our site are illustrations, not predictions.

3. Upwork rules are yours to keep

You are responsible for complying with Upwork Terms of Service on your account. Lodestar is an independent tool, not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by Upwork Inc. Use of Lodestar does not transfer your compliance duties to us.

4. AI drafts need your eyes

Every draft is AI generated and can be wrong, stale, or off tone. You must review each draft before sending, and every send happens by your hand on Upwork. Lodestar never sends anything for you.

5. Accounts and termination

Keep your login email secure and tell us if someone else uses your account. You may disconnect Upwork and delete your account at any time from settings or by writing to us. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, scrape it, or resell access.

6. No warranties

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, [Your company entity] is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost Connects, lost income, or account actions by third parties. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, which during free beta is zero.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Nigeria]. Disputes will first be raised with us directly so we can try to fix them like adults.
